Four Seasons Resort Lanai invites families to experience an extensive array of exhilarating land, air and ocean activities designed to ensure everyone in the family gets to choose something off their island bucket list.
Lanai by Sea
Families can enjoy snorkel sails and sunset sails, complete with food and refreshments. Lanai is home to one of Hawaii’s largest schools of spinner dolphins and offers a haven to North Pacific humpback whales from December to April. Private excursions are available for intimate family outings.
Families visiting Maui can combine a transfer to Lanai with an ocean adventure. Travel in comfort and luxury on a private 64 foot (20 metres) sailing catamaran, chartered from Trilogy Excursions. Cross the Auau Channel and enjoy panoramic views of neighbour islands. The transfer can be completed in as quick as 75 minutes or combined into a snorkel or sunset experience to span 3-5 hours, complete with chef-prepared menus and a premium bar.
Lanai Adventure Park
The newly opened Lanai Adventure Park offers canopy ziplines and adventure towers that are kid-friendly and a whole lot of fun.
Horseback ride
Saddle the family up for a horseback ride into the hills. Rides can accommodate all experience levels, including lessons.
Try a Rancher’s Experience – families can head up to the Stables via Resort shuttle or jeep and spend time with miniature horses, donkeys and goats while the wranglers’ talk story about Koele and the paniolo (cowboy) culture on Lanai.
Pack a picnic and enjoy lunch in the pasture for a relaxing afternoon. For littler Keiki, pony rides and cart rides with the minis are available.
Archery & Shooting Range
Challenge your hand and eye coordination at the Archery and Shooting Range. Available for guests nine years old and up, the 14-station course in the wooded uplands challenges shooters of all skill levels.
With stations offering sporting clays launched to simulate flight patterns of duck, quail, dove, pheasant and even running rabbit patterns, this course offers endless challenge and entertainment.
For families wanting the channel their inner Hunger Games characters, guests can set their sight on 3D animal targets such as turkey, deer, T-rex, ram or boar or take aim at traditional archery targets, from 5 to 25 yards (5-23 metres) away at the archery course.
Children as young as eight can enjoy this activity with appropriate supervision – child-sized equipment is available.

Fun for the whole family, the Manele Golf Driving Range transforms into Mini-Manele, a six-hole, par-three course right on the practice facility.
