As some families prepare to return to remote learning this fall, Montage Deer Valley announced the Montage Academy, a back-to-school program to complement distance learning for students, ages 6-17.
Montage Academy was designed to offer students in-person activities beyond their virtual curriculum in a luxury mountainside setting, with a daily schedule broken into two sessions: study hall and electives at Montage Deer Valley.
Students have the opportunity to join a monitored study hall on the property offered all day and will have access to a learning concierge who can assist them with a virtual tutor to complete assigned classwork from the student’s respective homeroom. During the afternoon, students have the option to participate in an elective with a learning component, to include:
- Art – plein air, arts and crafts
- Life Sciences – woodshop, cooking
- PE – hiking, fly fishing, archery
- Science – astronomy, flora and fauna
- History – Native American, Natural Landscape
Montage Academy on an à la carte basis
Students may also enroll in Montage Academy on an à la carte basis, with 5-day advance notice:
Daily access to a monitored study hall during the school week, including a selection of healthy snacks and a boxed lunch
Access to instant virtual tutoring from Tutor.com, a service of The Princeton Review
One 1⁄2 day elective for children ages 6-17, including PE, Art, History and Life Sciences
