Six Michelin Stars, One Unforgettable Stay: The Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris

June 18, 2026 By Ilonka Molijn

Last month, I had the privilege of staying at one of Paris’s most iconic Palace hotels, the Four Seasons Hotel George V, and it reminded me, emphatically, why this address endures as a benchmark for luxury hospitality.

“The concierge didn’t just know where to find the best cannelés from Bordeaux — they offered to send someone to fetch them before I even had to ask.”  Ilonka Molijn

Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris

The recently renovated rooms and suites are nothing short of extraordinary. Elegant, timeless, and impeccably finished, they strike that rare balance between grandeur and genuine comfort that only the very best hotels achieve.

With six Michelin stars across three restaurants, the culinary offering alone would justify the stay. Dinner at Le George was a highlight, refined, beautifully executed, and deeply enjoyable.

For something more relaxed, La Galerie proved the perfect retreat from the Parisian early-summer heat: an all-day dining space that feels unhurried and quietly indulgent, exactly what you need when the city outside is shimmering. The pool, too, offered welcome respite.

But what stays with me most is a small moment that says everything about the level of service here. I spoke with the Concierge and told him that I was looking for a shop selling cannelés from Bordeaux. The concierge not only knew of one at Montparnasse station (the departure point for trains to Bordeaux, as it happens) but also offered, without my asking, to send someone to collect them for me.

That instinct, anticipating a wish before it becomes a request, is what separates a great hotel from an unforgettable one. The Four Seasons Hotel George V is, without question, the latter.

Book Through a Preferred Partner — and Arrive Ready to Enjoy Paris

If you’re planning a stay at the Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, booking through a preferred partner elevates the experience from the moment you confirm.

As a Four Seasons Preferred Partner (via 360 Private Travel), I can secure benefits that go beyond what’s available through standard booking channels, including a room upgrade subject to availability, a hotel credit, and daily breakfast for two.

For families flying in from the US, one detail stands out: early check-in can sometimes be arranged in advance (depending on current offers and availability), so rather than arriving after a long transatlantic flight to wait in La Galerie, you can go straight to your room or suite. It’s a small thing that makes an enormous difference at the start of a trip.

If you’d like me to handle your reservation at the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris, get in touch, and I’ll take care of everything.
