This December, Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita unveils Tides of Light, its 2026 festive season theme. A celebration inspired by where land, sea, and light converge along Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit.
For families considering Punta Mita for the holidays, this year’s programming is worth a closer look: thoughtful and built with every age in mind.
Something for Every Generation
Christmas morning starts with Santa arriving on Cuevas Beach, followed by a full calendar of family programming: Family Movie Night, Family Circus Night, gingerbread cookie workshops, and a Santa’s Mail Station for last-minute letters to the North Pole.
The resort’s age-specific programming makes it easy to keep everyone happily occupied:
- Kids For All Seasons (ages 5–12) runs dedicated activities throughout the season
- The Container (ages 13–19) gives teens their own space, with ping pong and video game tournaments, canvas painting, and tote bag design

Holiday Dining Across the Resort
The season’s most talked-about addition is a pop-up unlike anything Punta Mita has hosted before. From December 14 through 30, Tamai welcomes Michelin-starred Chef Justin Paul for The Spice Coast, marking his first residency in Mexico. Chef Paul’s Macau restaurant, Justindia, holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand distinction, and his previous restaurant, Golden Peacock, earned Asia’s first Michelin star for an Indian restaurant.
The festive flavors extend well beyond the pop-up. Christmas Eve brings a beachside dinner with live music on Cuevas Beach, alongside holiday menus at Aramara, Bahía, and Dos Catrinas on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. And to ring in the new year gently, January 1 brings a leisurely brunch at Dos Catrinas, complete with Bloody Mary and mimosa stations, perfect for the morning after New Year’s Eve celebrations by the sea.
