St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of St. Regis Estates, a new brand focused on properties with significant historical and natural value. The first property to carry the designation will be The Resort at Pelican Hill on Newport Coast, with the transformation scheduled for completion in 2027.
About The Resort
The Resort at Pelican Hill spans over 500 acres and features architecture inspired by 16th-century Italian Renaissance design. The property includes residential-style bungalows and villas, along with two 36-hole golf courses designed by Tom Fazio.
What’s changing
As part of the transition, the resort will undergo several enhancements:
- Every accommodation redesigned. Bungalows and villas reimagined with new interiors
- The golf courses elevated, building on the existing Fazio design
- A new chef-led culinary program, alongside a signature bar and lobby
- A reimagined Coliseum Pool, plus the debut of the Bella Vista Pool Caffè and Social Club
- A Roman-style colonnade anchoring the spa
- An elevated Villa Clubhouse, built specifically for guests staying longer than a weekend
- St. Regis signatures: Butler Service, Afternoon Tea, and Sabrage. Reinterpreted through a distinctly Californian lens.
The full transformation is scheduled for completion in 2027.
