If you’re a Bridgerton fan looking for the ultimate excuse to indulge, this is it. The Lanesborough London, part of the Oetker Hotels, has unveiled a limited-edition Bridgerton Afternoon Tea, and it’s every bit as indulgent and romantic as the series itself.
Inspired by the much-loved characters of Bridgerton Season 4, the menu is a love letter to the Regency era. Expect delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones served with lashings of clotted cream and jam, and four exquisite signature sweet treats that look almost too beautiful to eat. Almost. A wide selection of teas and infusions rounds out the spread, but if you really want to lean into the occasion, the Forbidden Love cocktail is the only choice, a tipple we’re fairly certain Lady Whistledown herself would raise a glass to.
The setting, naturally, does all the work. Steps from Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park, The Lanesborough’s Regency-era grandeur feels tailor-made for this kind of occasion. On Saturdays and Sundays, the experience is accompanied by live piano, adding just the right touch of drama to your afternoon.
