I just got back from a fascinating road trip in Texas, exploring five-star hotels in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, and Irving.
If you’re even remotely a fan of Landman, then Bowie House, Auberge Collection is one of those places that instantly jumps onto your must-visit list. Especially since scenes from the show were filmed right here. And after staying there, I can confidently say it lives up to the hype.
From the moment you walk in, the hotel makes a statement. It’s bold and incredibly detail-oriented. Every corner feels intentional, from the design choices to the textures and finishes. It’s the kind of place where you keep noticing new details the longer you stay.
Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. You’re just a short distance from the Stockyards and downtown Fort Worth, making it easy to explore while still feeling tucked into something special.
If you’re planning to pair your stay with a visit to the Stockyards, I’d strongly recommend going over a weekend; most rodeos take place then, and it really brings the whole experience to life.

Southern Hospitality Is The Best
But what really sets Bowie House apart is the service. It’s not just good, it’s consistently high-level. The kind of hospitality that anticipates what you need before you even ask.
And then there’s the food. Both The Bar and Bricks and Horses deliver in a big way. Refined, flavorful, and memorable. Don’t miss Social Hour at the bar on select days from 4 to 6 PM, it’s the perfect way to ease into the evening. Add in live music and the legendary Pie Cart at Bricks and Horses, and you’ve got moments that feel both elevated and genuinely fun.
The atmosphere is lively in the best sense; there’s an energy here that you feel right away. It’s social, vibrant, and never dull, yet still feels elevated.

The rooms carry that same bold personality. Spacious, beautifully designed, and once again, full of those small details.
One of the highlights? The experiences. From line dancing classes to curated art moments, the hotel leans into creating something beyond just a place to sleep.
The art throughout the property is especially striking, almost surreal at times, and absolutely worth taking a guided tour to fully appreciate.
Bowie House isn’t just a hotel, it’s an experience. And if you’re drawn to places with personality, energy, and a strong sense of identity, this one delivers on all fronts.
