Our recent stay at Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria Brussels (August 2025) was nothing short of flawless. Whether you’re traveling as a couple or with family, this five-star haven delivers a perfect blend of grandeur, comfort, and thoughtful details that make you feel instantly at home.

Rooms

We stayed in a Grand Deluxe Room, and it immediately impressed us with its sense of grandeur paired with modern design touches. High ceilings, plush textures, and a soothing color palette create a glamorous yet welcoming atmosphere, while the technology is discreetly integrated and up-to-date.

Families and groups are especially well-served, thanks to excellent interconnecting and hallway connection options.

And for those seeking the ultimate in Brussels luxury, the Penthouse Suites are truly jaw-dropping. I had a chance to see one, and at 300 sqm, it’s a masterpiece of contemporary design and old-world glamour. Expansive living spaces and elegant décor make these suites among the most beautiful in the city – perfect for a celebratory stay or an unforgettable family retreat.

Dining & Bar

The culinary journey was one of the highlights of our stay:

  • Palm Court Restaurant: A delightful surprise. Exceptional food, outstanding value, and an atmosphere that felt both elegant and relaxed. Absolutely recommended. (Tip: don’t forget to look up—the ceiling is breathtaking.)

  • Palais Royal (fine dining by a 2-Michelin-starred chef) and Le Petit Bon Bon Brasserie were closed during our visit, but are worth noting for future stays.

  • Speakeasy Bar – “Under the Stairs”: A true hidden gem tucked to the left of the Palm Court staircase. Creative cocktails crafted by award-winning mixologist Hannah Van Ongevalle make this spot unmissable. Insider tip: try the Femme Fatale – a masterpiece in a glass.

Wellness

Down on level -1, the spa offers a serene retreat from the bustle of Brussels. With an indoor pool with a fireplace, sauna, and steam room, it’s the kind of space where time slows down and relaxation takes center stage.

Extra Touches

Details matter here. The valet parking service returned our electric car fully charged upon departure – a thoughtful touch that reflects the Corinthia’s commitment to effortless service.

Location

Situated just a 15-minute walk from the Grand Place, the Corinthia strikes a balance between central convenience and a tranquil, tucked-away sense of calm.

Overall Impressions

Corinthia Grand Hotel Astoria Brussels is a stunning new addition to the city’s luxury scene, where glamour meets warmth. Service is polished yet personal, interiors feel like a luxurious sanctuary, and the spa and dining elevate the entire experience.

For us, it felt like wrapping up in a luxurious warm blanket – the kind of hotel that welcomes you, pampers you, and makes you never want to leave.

Highly recommended for couples, families, and anyone seeking top-tier luxury in Brussels.
