My Home Away from Home: Duplex Canal View Junior Suite
During my stay, I settled into a gorgeous Duplex Canal View Junior Suite that felt like my own cozy Amsterdam apartment.
The upper level featured a stunning living room where I could relax and take in the views of the shimmering canals, a space so beautiful and inviting that I never wanted to leave.
Downstairs, the bedroom was incredibly comfy and serene, perfect for unwinding. The suite’s warm tones, elegant décor, and thoughtful touches made it feel truly like home, an ideal blend of comfort and Amsterdam charm.
A Dip in the Pool
One of the highlights of Rosewood Amsterdam is its serene indoor pool. The design is sophisticated and tranquil, with natural daylight. Offering the perfect escape from the city’s bustle. I took a leisurely swim and found it wonderfully refreshing—a lovely perk for travelers seeking both relaxation and wellness during their stay.
(There’s also an amazing spa that I didn’t get to try this time, my stay was way too short for extra pampering. Definitely adding it to my list for next time!)
A Sip of Local Craft at The Advocatuur Bar
Tucked inside the luxurious Rosewood Amsterdam, The Advocatuur Bar is a must-visit for cocktail enthusiasts and curious travelers alike.
The atmosphere is lively yet sophisticated, perfect for unwinding with friends or savoring a solo drink.
Creative cocktails steal the show here, crafted with artistry and flair by skilled mixologists.
Don’t forget to pay a visit to Irene, the hotel’s very own distillery machine, where they produce their signature Provo jenever, a delightful local spirit that’s as memorable as the hotel itself.
Culinary Delights at Eeuwen
Dinner was a true indulgence at Eeuwen, the hotel’s signature restaurant. The menu celebrates locally sourced ingredients. Each course was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor.
The menu was primarily fish-based, with only one pork dish. Hoping they’ll add more variety for non-seafood lovers in the future.
The staff were warm, knowledgeable, and attentive, adding to an unforgettable dining experience.
A Moment of Calm in the Inner Courtyard
Before checking out, I savored a peaceful cup of tea at The Court, the hotel’s all-day dining lounge and inner courtyard.
Tucked away from the urban energy, this serene space is a hidden gem, offering guests a quiet spot to unwind amidst lush greenery and elegant architecture. It’s the perfect place to pause, reflect, or soak up the atmosphere of this extraordinary property.

Tip: Although I didn’t have time to try it myself on this visit, I highly recommend Rosewood Amsterdam’s private salon boat. It’s an elegant way to explore the city’s canals. A skilled captain guides you through Amsterdam’s waterways. At the same time, you enjoy drinks on board, offering an excellent opportunity to discover hidden corners of the city and experience the canals in true luxury.
