The five-star luxury 7Pines Resort Ibiza opens the Kio House of Kids in collaboration with Sophia Brucklacher, the creator and author of the book ‘Kio the little, BIG Seahorse’ and Amy Magica from Ibiza Kids Company.
This eco-friendly and educational Kids Club aims to sensibilize little guests from an early age to a broader eco-awareness and help protect the planet.
With a combination of Montessori, Waldorf and Early Years Foundation, kids learn through play around seven areas:
- Art & Design
- Communication & Language
- Physical Development
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development
- Literacy
- Mathematics and Problem Solving
- Understanding of the World
Sustainability is incorporated in the decor of the House and within the wide range of fun activities catered for all ages such as upcycling, art collages, gardening, or even eco-friendly video games for teens.
Kids Activities with For The Planet
In its efforts to support one of the local foundations, Ibiza’s partner is For The Planet who helps to organize impactful activities for Kio House of Kids, such as:
- beach cleaning days followed by the creation of an art sculpture made of recycled material found on the shores
Another partner, Ibiza Kids Company, operates the club and develops entertaining and always earth-conscious activities.
Location of Kio House of Kids
Kio House of Kids is located in The Laguna, the preferred area for families with kids where the family-friendly swimming pool can also be found.
The House is made of three distinct indoor areas and an outdoor area consisting of a large covered terrace and a garden.
One space is dedicated to the youngest children with a rest area, another space is used for creative workshops and other indoor activities for the children, and another space for teens.
Opening hours:
daily from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm
Children aged 1 to 14 years old are welcome
